I originally was going to do this blog about someone completly different, but last night I had a little conversation with my friend Billy, and he related an experience he had when he attended private school, and had just finished his blog about it. Well it got me to thinking, and I had a similar experience when I was in private school.
My blog is going to be shared by two people, a fellow student, who is the little jackass, and a former teacher, who is - you guessed it - the big jackass.
Now as I stated before, I went to a private school, and I'm still under the contention that jail would have been easier, the nuns were of the order of the Green Berets, well it seemed like it anyway. I basically kept to myself, because I found the majority of the students to be clique
and rather snobbish, and I just couldn't be bothered, so I minded my own biz, and didn't worry about anyone else.
Enter the little jackass, His name was Danny Fissinger, in fact he slightly resembles the picture above. My first encounter with him was in the second grade. That day my mom was going to pick me up from school, and she was running late, so I was waiting on the steps of the school...Well anyway, Danny's attempt to be " cool " was to run around the building, act like he was going to knock me down on his way toward me, then run around the building again. He had done this several times, and I remember thinking " This kid is an idiot " so I basicly ignored him. Apparently the lack of my attention got to him, because over the next 6 years, the little jackass made verbal assaults towards me, at school and on the bus and I just ignored him. He even tried to get others to join in with him, but they fortunatly they never did. What he didn't realize is that he was just makeing himself look like the fool. I don't know if Danny realizes this, but if he wanted my attention, he could of gone about it in a nicer way, instead of acting like the little jackass. I don't know if he ever had children, but if he did, I hope he didn't hurl insults at them like he did me, because these days, it would be considered child abuse, possibly reported, and could have led to alot of unpleasent things for him.
Now for the Big Jackass. Mr. R was a sixth grade teacher at the private school I attended. It was the consenses of all the students at the school, that he was a general asshole, which I can't deny because he was, but he tended to go overboard with his actions, and jackass is a better word. By the time I had reached the sixth grade, he was close to 30 years old, and he would brag to the class about his wild weekends at the local bars, and various things that happend afterwards, which I found rather inapproriate to talk about on his part. Why would an adult want to discuss his private life with a class of 12 year olds? But then again he was a jackass. He also had the habit of hitting some of the male students with the chalkboard pointer, and he hit them with some force too. One student in particular kept track of how many times he was hit with that pointer throughout the year, and it wound up being over 1000 times. Dosen't that just scream jackass??? Finally, the parents of another male student had brought a lawsuit against Mr R, because he blackened their sons eye. JACKASS !!! I hope this man found another profession, because he has no business working with children.
I don't know if he ever became a parent, and Lawd I hope not !!! He doesn't deserve children, the bully that he is. But in case he did, I pray that his kids mother(s) protected them, because he just dosen't know how to respect young people.
Maybe he just isn't a happy person and feels he has to bully young people. Or maybe he's just a BIG JACKASS.
